Donation containers are located at businesses throughout Tioga County. We are very thankful to the great businesses for allowing the cans and their customers for donating their change. Each coin collected benefits an animal in need in Tioga County.

Cans for Critters

Second Chance Sanctuaries has also set up aluminum can recycling centers throughout Tioga County. These collection sites have assisted greatly in providing needed funds to feed and provide veterinary care for our animals.

Presently there are three sites up and running. One is located in Wellsboro at the Rhino Linings building (across from George's Restaurant) Look for the Cans For Critters sign. The second site is in Elkland at Vargeson's market. Our newset site is in Galeton. It is set up in front of the Galeton Plaza near  the pharmacy.

Please help us out whenever you can with your aluminum cans! (Unfortunately, cat food cans do not help us out, so if you could keep them home, that would be great!)
